Personally, I gave up on it when it got locked into an update cycle of offering to do updates but never actually managing them. Constant pointless upgrade notices – or suppress them and watch it fall further and further out of date.
It is a great idea, but I get the sense that UAC and win8 is not co-operating with the vision.

Thanks for your feedback, Why not report this in the issue page? Also there is an option to disable the check for updates.
